Tutankham for ColecoVision: Explore the Classic Arcade Adventure

Tutankham, developed by Parker Brothers for the ColecoVision home console, is a top-down arcade action game inspired by the golden age of retro gaming.

Players take on the role of an intrepid explorer venturing deep into the tomb of King Tutankhamun in search of hidden treasures and ancient relics.

Each chamber in the tomb presents a challenging maze filled with valuable loot, locked doors, and deadly enemies. Players must locate a key in every chamber to progress to the next level, where the puzzles grow increasingly difficult. The tomb is far from empty — cobras, bats, and scorpions lurk in the dark, ready to strike.

Armed only with a laser gun that fires left and right, players must time their shots carefully to survive. Strategy and precision are essential, as the limited “flash” ability can clear the screen of enemies but can only be used once per maze.

Tutankham delivers a perfect blend of exploration, reflex-based combat, and puzzle solving. Its combination of fast-paced action and maze navigation makes it one of the standout titles on the ColecoVision console and a must-play for fans of early 1980s arcade games.
