Fireman – ColecoVision Action Game by Nice Ideas & CollectorVision

Fireman, developed by Nice Ideas and CollectorVision Games for the ColecoVision home console, is a fast-paced action game where players take on the critical role of a firefighter.

Tasked with saving an apartment building from destruction, players must respond quickly to fires caused by dangerous elements such as candles, bombs, and dynamite.

To combat the flames, players can use a fire extinguisher from the truck or pull a hose from the nearest hydrant. Water can be released by pressing a button, which activates a steady stream to extinguish fires or eliminate oncoming hazards. However, precise control and timing are essential—if the firefighter comes into contact with any source of danger while walking, a life is lost.

The gameplay requires quick thinking, accurate movement, and strategic use of firefighting tools to protect the building and survive each increasingly challenging level.

Fireman offers a unique firefighting experience not commonly found in early home console games, making it a standout title in the ColecoVision library for fans of skill-based, arcade-style gameplay.
