Atlantis on the Magnavox Odyssey 2, developed by Imagic, challenges players to defend the legendary lost city from relentless Gorgon invaders.

As the commander of the city’s defense, your mission is to protect Atlantis from enemy waves flying in various patterns across the screen. These Gorgon vessels start by flying high, but as the attack intensifies, they get progressively lower, threatening the city's buildings.

Each enemy ship that reaches too low will destroy a part of Atlantis, bringing you closer to defeat. The game grows more intense as the speed of the Gorgon crafts increases, testing your reflexes and strategy. Your task is to eliminate the invaders before they can strike the city.

The game ends when all the buildings in Atlantis have been obliterated. Can you rise to the challenge and save Atlantis from its impending doom, or will the city fall under the Gorgon attack? Atlantis provides a classic, fast-paced arcade-style defense challenge that captures the thrill of retro gaming on the Magnavox Odyssey 2.
