Tank Mission, developed by Leo Gerald Brophy and CollectorVision Games for the ColecoVision home gaming console, delivers an intense multi-phase combat experience that blends tank warfare, infantry action, and aerial missions.

Players begin by controlling a heavily armed tank, navigating hostile territory filled with enemy tanks, planes, gun turrets, and hidden mines. Each mission requires players to locate key objectives and advance to the next stage while managing constant enemy assaults.

Once objectives are secured, players can exit their tank and take direct control of their soldier armed with a Thompson machine gun. This phase shifts the action to ground combat, where players storm enemy bunkers to free prisoners of war, capture the Enigma machine, or steal a prototype stealth aircraft.

The action escalates further when players take to the skies, piloting the stolen stealth plane through waves of enemy squadrons, anti-aircraft defenses, and a missile-launching blimp. The ultimate goal is to destroy the enemy’s deadly V2 rockets and safely return the plane to headquarters.

With its diverse gameplay, strategic combat, and classic ColecoVision design, Tank Mission offers an authentic retro gaming challenge that showcases the creativity and excitement of 1980s home console adventures.
