N-Sub for ColecoVision | Retro Submarine Shooter by Team Pixelboy

N-Sub is a fast-paced submarine shooter for the ColecoVision home console, developed by Team Pixelboy.

Set in the treacherous waters of the Cobalt Blue Sea, the game challenges players to pilot a submarine while fending off relentless waves of enemy ships and submarines.

Gameplay takes place on a single-screen battlefield, where players can move their submarine freely in all directions. To survive, the submarine is equipped with torpedoes that can be fired in two ways: vertically to strike enemy ships above, and horizontally to target opposing submarines. Each torpedo attack is controlled with separate buttons, and holding a button fires short bursts of three torpedoes at a time.

Each round concludes after a fleet of twelve enemy ships and a powerful destroyer complete a set number of attack loops. As rounds progress, the challenge intensifies, with enemy ships becoming increasingly aggressive. The combination of precise movement, dual firing mechanics, and escalating difficulty makes N-Sub a standout example of classic naval combat on the ColecoVision.
