Philips Videopac 47: The Mousing Cat

is an engaging and strategic game on the Magnavox Odyssey 2, developed by Philips and Magnavox. As the mouse, your objective is to devour cheese pieces scattered around the room. To do this, press and hold the "action" button; the longer you hold, the more cheese you eat. Successfully eating cheese makes the mouse grow larger, granting temporary immunity from the cat. As the cat, your goal is to trap the mouse by encircling it while pressing the "action" button. Strategically use and recover your limited trap parts to outmaneuver the mouse.

The game features 7 skill levels, increasing the speed of both cat and mouse and reducing the number of trap parts available. With 8 game variations, including stationary and moving cheese and obstacles, "The Mousing Cat" offers endless fun and replayability.
