Prepare for an unforgettable showdown in Attack of the Timelord! As the player, you've captured the attention of Spyrus the Deathless, the fearsome Timelord of Chaos. Armed with your Time Machine's laser cannon, it's your sole defense against imminent destruction. Engage in a heart-pounding space shooter where you control the Time Machine horizontally, dodging enemy fire and unleashing devastating laser blasts with the action button.

Beware! The Timelord's Time Ships possess four deadly weapons, each progressively introduced in the game's first four levels. In the initial stage, the Time Ships unleash missiles, aiming straight towards the bottom of the screen. As you advance to the second level, prepare to face antimatter mines, tracking your Time Machine's movements with deadly accuracy. The third level intensifies the challenge with annihilators, descending straight down and then launching attacks from the sides. Finally, in the fourth level, the Timelord dispatches Nucleonic Time killers—robot-piloted destroyers capable of anticipating your every move.

With a staggering 256 stages of increasing difficulty, expect faster and better-armed enemies as you progress. Destroying all Time Ships signifies victory for each level, and you'll earn points for every enemy you eliminate. Rack up 2 points per destroyed missile, 4 points for each antimatter mine, 5 points for every Time Ship, 8 points for annihilators, and a whopping 16 points for Time killers obliterated.

The Timelord looms at the start of every level, but a clever tactic awaits you. By pressing 0 (zero) at the beginning of the game, you can jam his transmissions, preventing his reappearance when you decimate his fleet of Time Ships. Seize control of time itself and vanquish the Timelord's tyranny!
