U.S. Ski Team Skiing - Slalom and Downhill Racing Action on Intellivision

U.S. Ski Team Skiing, developed by APh Technological Consulting and Mattel Electronics for the Intellivision platform, offers an exhilarating and realistic skiing experience. Whether you're racing solo against the clock or competing with up to 6 players, this game brings the thrills of slalom and downhill skiing right into your home.

Players can choose between two distinct courses: Slalom, which challenges players to navigate through tightly spaced gates with precision, and Downhill, where speed is the ultimate goal as players race down the mountain, avoiding trees and leaping over moguls. Each race consists of three heats, and players aim to achieve the fastest overall time by mastering each slope’s unique challenges.

With 15 slope grade settings, players can customize the course difficulty, adjusting how quickly they accelerate as they race down the hill. The game also offers 4 different speed settings, allowing players to tailor the overall pace of the game for either a more relaxed or high-intensity experience.

The multiplayer aspect adds an exciting competitive element, with up to 6 players taking turns to race and compare times. Each run tests players' ability to balance speed, control, and timing as they navigate obstacles and strive for the fastest time across multiple heats.
