Red Clash (1982) – Tehkan Arcade Shooter on Emerson Arcadia 2001

Red Clash is a shoot 'em up video game developed and published by Emerson Radio Corp. for the Emerson Arcadia 2001 home gaming console.

Released in 1982, it is an officially licensed adaptation of the arcade title of the same name originally developed by Tehkan, known today as Tecmo.

Staying true to its arcade roots, Red Clash features classic vertical-scrolling gameplay where the player controls a starfighter tasked with shooting down waves of enemy spacecraft. As the game progresses, players face increasingly difficult enemy patterns and faster-paced combat, requiring quick reflexes and precise movement.

The home console version retains much of the arcade game's intensity and is considered one of the stronger shoot 'em up titles in the Arcadia 2001 library. The objective is simple but engaging—eliminate enemies, avoid incoming fire, and rack up high scores in a continuous battle across space-themed levels.
