Caverns of Titan is a science fiction exploration and action game developed by Area 51 in collaboration with Team Pixelboy for the ColecoVision home gaming console.

Set in the year 2045, the game follows a high-stakes mission launched by the European Space Agency to recover vital equipment from a failed expedition to Saturn’s moon, Titan.

After contact was lost with the first spacecraft sent to Titan five years earlier, a second mission is deployed. Upon arrival, the crew discovers the wreckage of the original ship, scattered across the moon’s surface due to a collision with a dense rock belt during atmospheric entry. Players take control of Astro Willy, who is tasked with navigating the hazardous underground environments of Titan to recover essential mission components.

Gameplay challenges players to guide Astro Willy through a series of perilous caverns filled with environmental hazards and time pressure. The game emphasizes resource management, as the protagonist must act quickly before his limited oxygen supply runs out. Success depends on precise movement, swift decision-making, and effective exploration.
