Beamrider for ColecoVision – Sci-Fi Shooter by Activision

Beamrider, developed by Activision for the ColecoVision home gaming console, is a fast-paced science fiction shooter that challenges players to take on the role of Earth’s last hope in a battle across a shield of light surrounding the planet.

The game begins as Earth-Space is engulfed by an iridescent web of blue energy beams. These beams serve as the foundation for a mysterious and dangerous alien defense shield that stretches across 99 sectors. As the Beamrider, players must mount these beams and engage a relentless stream of hostile threats, including white saucers, red zig bombs, and yellow chirpers.
