Jawbreaker is an unreleased video game developed by Tigervision for the Atari 5200 home gaming console.

Although it was never officially launched, the game represents an adaptation of Tigervision’s arcade-style design philosophy for Atari’s more advanced console hardware.

The game is set within a candy factory environment where players control a set of animated chomping teeth. The primary objective is to move quickly around the screen and consume all the candy bars while avoiding roaming enemies represented by smiling faces. Contact with these enemies poses a constant threat, requiring careful navigation and timing to clear each stage.

Once all candy bars on a screen have been eaten, the game transitions to a brief interlude focused on dental hygiene. During this sequence, a toothbrush cleans the player’s teeth, serving as a thematic reset before the next round of action begins. This mechanic reinforces the game’s playful presentation while marking progression between levels.

Jawbreaker combines maze-style movement with reflex-driven arcade gameplay, reflecting common design trends of early 1980s console titles. Despite its unreleased status on the Atari 5200, the game remains of interest to collectors and historians as an example of Tigervision’s planned but unfinished contributions to the system’s library.
